Dexter-Ann Arbor Run - 6/6/10
On Sunday, June 6, MRun partnered with MyTeamTriumph to push 14-year old Alex Darr in a wheelchair for the Dexter-Ann Arbor 10k run. There were eight club runners helping the team captain Alex with the race. Alex had a great time, and the crowd gave him a huge ovation as the team crossed the line. This is the fifth race MRun has done with MyTeamTriumph, with the Big House Big Heart run in October up next.

Results of the Michigan Galactic Relays
On April 3rd, the Michigan Running Club hosted the second annual galactic relays track meet. There were a wide range of events, from shot put to the 300 meters to the always entertaining MRun galactic relay. In attendance were 55 competitors from Michigan, U of M Dearborn, Purdue, and Central Michigan. The men's team finished first with 163 points, beating Purdue by 44 points. The women's team also was first, beating U of M Dearborn by a mere three points, 72-69. Despite difficult weather conditions, the meet went very smoothly. MRun looks forward to hosting this event again next year.

How to Get Involved!
Running Club meets daily, Monday-Friday, at 4:15pm on the bridge next to the CCRB during the school year.
Right now, during the Summer, we meet at 6:15 on the bridge next to the CCRB. Newcomers are more than welcome to join us!
