Meet: Michigan Intercollegiates

Site: Rochester, MI
10 men and 3 women traveled to Rochester, MI to run among some tough competition in the open race at the Michigan Intercollegiates. The race was on Katke Cousins Golf Course, the course that will host NCAA D1 regionals. Both Nathan Peters and Mackenzie Adams had top-notch performances as they were the top male and female finishers from MRun. Peters finished the men’s 8K in 26:02 (2nd place), while Adams finished the women’s 5K in 18:41 (3rd place).
Max Hock and Joe Billian also continued to lead the men’s contingent, finishing neck and neck with times of 27:26 (12th place) and 27:27 (13th place) respectively. Alex Prasad finished right behind them (27:31, 15th place), followed by Charlie Mouch (23rd, 28:27) and Ari Schorr (24th, 28:29). Josh Lumley (28:45, 28th), Garret Carpenter (29:07, 34th), Scott Wagner (29:41, 46th), and Greg King (30:06, 50th) also all had strong performances on the tough course. Rounding out the small representation of MRun female runners were Kayla Gawlik (22:14, 33rd place) and Nona Ebrahim (25:07, 41st).
On Saturday, October 17th, many MRunners will be hoping to PR as they compete in the CMU Homecoming 5K, a fast course in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
