Hi everyone! My name is Sophia, and I am stoked to be one of your Co-Presidents this year! I am a senior majoring in International Studies and History with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change, and I'm from Dexter, Michigan. MRun has been one of the best parts of my college experience, and I'll always be thankful for the friends, fitness, and fun memories it has given me. If you are still deciding whether MRun is the right place for you, I highly recommend joining us at a practice and giving it a try. Who knows? Maybe you'll meet your best friends, smash some running records, or fall in love with running the fabled Michigan workout. If you are interested in joining MRun, have any questions about what MRun and college are like, or want to chat about alternative music or Model UN, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I look forward to seeing you at practice! :-)
Hi everyone! My name is Henry Styron and I will be one of your Co-Presidents this year. I am a Senior studying Molecular Biology from Canton, Michigan. MRun is a great group of people with a place for everyone. Whether you are new to running or are looking for some training buddies MRun has a place for you. MRun has proved to be the best part of college for me and I hope that all of you are willing to give it a try. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have through email or during practice. See you at 4:15!
Hello MRun! My name is Joseph Fedoronko, I am a junior studying robotics and computer science. I have been running since 4th grade and have always had a passion for distance training so I’m beyond excited to be your distance training chair this year! Whether you're just starting out or have been running for years, MRun has a place for you and I hope to be able to offer my experience to help you along your running journey. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me. I look forward to seeing everyone at practice!
Hello hello hello! My name is Rebecca “Becka” Zeitman and I am a senior majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry and I am your Sprint Training Chair this year! I love running (obviously), skateboarding, and watching football while I crochet. As sprint training chair, I write the workouts for all events 100m-800m including hurdles/field events too. If you ran in high school, middle school, or have never run before feel free to stop by practices (reach out to me for more information) to get a feel for how fun competing and hanging around club running can be! My goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome, faster, and injury-free at the end of every practice/meet. I can’t wait for this team to take home more National Trophies! GO BLUE!
Hello, MFriends!! I'm Ava Ignacio, your Travel Coordinator this year. I am from Saline, MI, so if you've ever competed @ Golden Triangle, come and talk to me ;) I am a junior majoring in Biology, Health, and Society (BHS), hoping to become a dentist one day. My core memories from college all center around MRun, and I would not trade this opportunity for the world! Any questions regarding travel to/from events, running in general, or even a question about that tooth that has been bothering you, I'm your girl. See you guys at 4:15!
Hey, MRun! I'm Ashley and I'm so excited to be your treasurer this year! I am a junior studying mechanical engineering from Otsego, Michigan. MRun is one of the biggest and most affordable club sports on campus and I look forward to helping keep it that way. I've met my best friends on MRun and know you will too! I look forward to seeing you at practice! If you have any questions or just want to reach out feel free to email me!
Hey besties!! My name is Theresa and I am a junior from Clarkston, MI. I am a Biology major and plan on pursuing a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. MRun is kinda my whole world and I am excited to let everyone know about it and raise a ton of money for it (or at least try to)! As someone who joined this club as a freshman that knew no one, I understand how scary it can be to join a new club. However, I highly recommend that you come to a practice or two and meet these goofs (You won’t regret it). Please feel free to say hi if you see me or reach out over email if you’re considering joining!
Hey y’all! My name is Addy Stevens and I’m your Community Service Chair this year. I’m from Coopersville, MI and am a junior studying Movement Science! MRun has been a huge part of my life since my freshman year and I hope I can help make MRun a fun part of yours too! One of the coolest things about MRun is that it’s about more than just running! Our club gives back to the community by volunteering locally through races and clean up projects—plus a lot of fun service activities too. If you’re ever in need of volunteers for an event or have any questions, you can email me or find me at practice!
Hello MRunners! My name is Mallory Moore, and I am a sophomore majoring in Sociology and the sub-major Law, Justice, and Social Change. I also plan on minoring in Urban Studies, along with Afroamerican and African Studies, so if you have questions about any of these topics, please reach out! I am super excited to be your SWAG chair this year, and my brain is already exploding with some super fun ideas for merch! MRun has been the focal point of my time at Michigan so far, so I hope to play a role in providing that experience for you. Please reach out with any questions about SWAG, MRun, or just UMich in general. Looking forward to another great season of MRun merch and amazing experiences!
Hey! My name is Max Klarman and I’m so stoked to be one of your social chairs this year! I’m a junior studying economics and psychology. MRun social events are pretty sweet. We love to eat (of course!), chill with our new friends, and blow off some steam! When I joined MRun as a freshman, I felt instantly at home, and have met SO many nice and supportive friends. Whether you’re a competitive runner, or someone who runs just for fun, I look forward to getting to know you. If you have any questions at all about MRun, Ann Arbor (I’m a local), or anything else, definitely reach out!
Hey everyone, my name is Ian and I’m a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering. I’m looking forward to working with Max as a dynamic social chair duo! I love the running part of this club, but the events that happen outside of 4:15 practice bring everyone closer together and are always a great time. Coming to the dinners, the outdoor socials, camp, banquet, and the heinous food challenges, I have gotten to know some of my best friends. If you have any questions about EE, social events, camp, or anything else, feel free to reach out!
Hey all!! My name is Jenny Cantrell, and I am so excited to be your Webmaster this year! I am a senior studying Data Science and Spanish with a focus in Bioinformatics, originally from Saline, MI. MRun has really shaped my experience on campus and has allowed me to meet so many kind and goofy people. If you are at all interested, I highly recommend trying out a 4:15 practice and seeing this amazing community yourself. Feel free to reach out to me about literally anything, I am always open for questions!
